Gillian Gadsby

I have made it to episode 5 and am determined to finish the series in the hope that there will be some clarification. I am always very keen to watch anything that includes David Tennant however his performance in this, although good, is marred by his appalling English accent which knocks that of Dick van Dyke in Mary Poppins into a cocked hat. Whoever was responsible for the hair styles of some of the actors including Jones & Tennant should never be allowed on a film set again, the wigs were ridiculous and very distracting. Some of the acting is brilliant as you would expect from the all star British cast but it cannot rescue this series from being badly told and boring. It is a great shame because this true story deserved better.
