Dear M.Night Shyamalan, normal people don’t just randomly give out exposition like that.
SPOILER ALERT.
Trap is a movie where the director makes his daughter a famous popstar who helps catch a serial killer. The first shot we see when this film begins is a close-up of the popstar’s face on a t shirt, nice. Things happen in this movie with no logical reason as to why, but because it just needs to happen for the plot to continue. This movie is okay if you’re happy with being treated like you’re 11 years old. This is a switch off your brain type of film because everybody else apart from cooper and the “lady-raven” behave like they have below average IQ. Not sure what this film was trying to accomplish, like it was somehow trying to justify the things Cooper did. For someone dangerous, the law enforcement is certainly very lenient on him, using non-lethal tasers even when cooper attacks an officer, good for them for seeing value in human life I guess
The few positives of this show I did like was that this was a new concept as opposed to all the sequels and remakes Hollywood has been putting out. The music was great too, they all sounded the same. I also liked what Josh Harnett brought to the character, call me crazy but I found myself rooting for him.
And again Mr Shymalan, normal people don’t talk like that….
