Well if you believe the hype this show is supposed to be as good, if not better than GOT. I think those who wrote those reviews were either paid reviewers or patriotic Koreans. The story line was interesting and novel but predictable. The English dubbing was atrocious, very spaghetti western. I preferred to read the subtitles than listen to the dubbing which lacked authenticity. I’m unsure whether it was intentional or just how Korean people are but I found it had a racial undertone of Korean superiority to the Pakistani character. Overall I found it over rated and had I not invested the time watching the first few episodes and believed the hype I could have easily given the remainder of the episodes a miss, however now I’ll be watching the next series (subtitles only) to see where it heads.

An easily forgettable movie. I’ve never watched an apocalyptic movie where the main male character spend so much of the movie crying. Great plot, poor execution and must have been done on a shoe string budge, if not the Australian film industry has a long way to go to compete internationally.

Very reminiscent of The 100, it takes a couple of episodes before the cast seems to gel and the show becomes more enjoyable. Binged watched all the available episodes and am looking forward to when there are more to watch. I’m a post apocalyptic genre fan so it’s a gimme, my partner not so but got absorbed with the show and was disappointed when we reached the end of the series.
