This movie is incredibly touching and delicate. It has become rare to be touched like this lately. La Fanfare was another one that made you feel your heart. Eliott is just gorgeously innocent and spontaneous. Anyone would adopt him on the spot.
However, there is one unbearable fact I want to mention: the smokingโฆ why in the world was this necessary? In almost every single scene the cigarette was present EVEN when the kids were with Sandra. What was the point? The added value? What image is this supposed to convey?. I felt chocked and stressed by all those smoking scenes. I really donโt get it.
