I cried. I did barbenheimer right, and I was awed by Oppenheimer, and was worried Barbie would not meet my internal hype. But when I saw it, it was even more than I could’ve ever imagined. I’m concerned about the audience scores being so controversial compared to the critics scores and legitimately am concerned that there is a political agenda and a boycott of audiences who have an issue with the radical idea that Barbie can be independent and ken doesn’t need a Barbie to matter. Like those beings could somehow be separate. This movie is moving and important and needs to be considered in the eye of personal value and self worth.
