Unless this is an alternate universe attempt at the origin story of snake eyes, this film totally ignores established back story. I almost thought D&D wrote and directed this. If this were a stand alone martial arts film it would rank very high, but it destroyed the origin story that was semi-established in the first 2 films. I'm just saddened this didn't do the character justice. Now if this was an alternate universe version then it did very well, it caught details and changed things keeping with the relationship's of the characters.
