I enjoy most loose women programmes,particularly when current topics in the news are discussed.
It was good that in todays programme,some of the good, and bad things about being over 60,including pensions ,pension age rise,etc were discussed.What wasn't told was that millions of women,born in the 50's were not aware of the age change for getting their pensions ,because of now known Maladministration by the DWP...Some were notified by letter long before they reached 60,but the majority of women were not,and only learned they'd have to work more years before they'd get their pension when they were about to retire.For women who were unable to work on through ill health it was devastating,as they were relying on getting their pension at 60.For many it's meant real hardship,and even poverty,and thousands have since died,without seeing justice done.I wish the panel had been aware of,and championed,The WASPI Campaign..Its about getting some compensation for these women,getting justice done...
