As a teenage girl I thought the movie had a great message about how girls can be anything they set their minds too and how both the matriarchy and patriarchy are flawed. Equality is the solution. The movie also talks about how aging is graceful and another journey on this adventure called life. I cried because Barbie inspired me, being a girl is hard but if Barbie can do it (battling depression is no joke) then why can’t I do it too. I am me, and I am me because I am myself. You’ll get it if you see the movie.
