Sorry to those of you who liked this but I thought it was the weakest of all the DR franchises, or maybe tied for worst with DR Canada. As others have mentioned the couple that were allowed on the judging pa el voted as a block and heavily skewed the outcomes. Also, it seems that they could’ve found a more polished host as her drag seemed amateur and not even on the level of the contestants in many instances, as there’s obviously not a shortage or drag talent there but her pick as host is somewhat surprising. The challenges were quite lack-luster and some were downright juvenile and relied on toilet humor and shock, but I guess I’m more used to “high brow” trash art like John Waters who was doing similar stuff but had a point to it 50 years ago. This was the first DR franchise I wasn’t able to watch the entire season which was so disappointing because I had such high hopes from the advertisements. It’s all fluff and no substance.
