The plot of this show has great potential. Basically these kids return to their ancestral house and find out there are magical keys that do magical things. There are people out there to get the keys and there are mysteries to be solved. All in all, it is an interesting story. My issue with this show is how terrible the acting is. There are so many plot holes it’s all you can see when you’re watching it. I understand that it’s mainly for young adults and teenagers, but being a YA myself I felt it was too dramatic. The kids continuously made decisions I find are far from reality. I understand it’s fictional and fantasy based but they do dumb stuff. Their choice of action is just irrational or irrelevant. Honestly no teenager acts like that. The only person on the show I’d say deserves a good rating is Bode. He’s the only one who makes sound decisions despite being a child. His comical relief also takes my mind of the horrible script. Kid deserves an Oscar.
