The book takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions.It had many plot twists and interesting things that happened. I as an overachiever really relate to Deza Malone. This book is a pretty easy read and I didn't find it boring as so many things are happening all at once. The book itself was extraordinarily written and I get it is about The Great Depression and the things that happened during that time but I just really would prefer to read fantasy books. I think I also would of enjoyed it more if I did not have to read it since I did so for a school project. Also keep in mind there are serious topics that come up in the story. Overall its a great book.
