I am a huge Doctor Who fan, and was really trying to give the new series a chance. Jodie Whitaker’s character lacks confidence. The other characters are dry and boring. The stories and writing is also dry and boring. I keep watching and hoping for it to change, but I keep finding myself longing for the past several seasons so badly; or by miracle for any of the past several Doctors to please rise from the dead and COME BACK!! There’s so much political hinting and agendas mixed into these episodes. Had the new female Doctor been a strong character like River Song or Amy Pond, it surely might have made all the difference in the world. But Jodie Whittaker’s character is so weak and unsure, and soft spoken, it’s just not Doctor Who to me anymore.
