Déjà Vu Dressed in Melody 🎶 Watching Saiyaara felt oddly familiar ..almost like someone took Jubin Nautiyal’s “Humnava Mere” and stretched it into a 2-hour film. Not just the vibe, but the entire emotional arc and plotline feel eerily lifted straight from the song’s storyline. While Gen Z may be hyping this as a fresh wave of romantic cinema.. for anyone who's seen or heard Mohit Suri's past work – it’s clear this is his comfort zone. That said the magic still works. His knack for melodious heartbreak hits again, with the music being an absolute standout – soulful, haunting, and beautifully placed. Special mention to the newcomers – despite the recycled plot their performances shine through with honesty and intensity. They’ve done a tremendous job carrying the emotional weight. In short: Saiyaara may not bring anything new to the table but it’s emotionally engaging and musically rich. Just don’t go in expecting a plot twist you haven’t already heard in a song
