Not as good a series as I first anticipated. I am very broad-minded fair enough but the repeated terms "Prozzie, Tart, Wh*re" are all unnecessary by the police who come across as typical bullish blokes with no thought for the victims families when referring to these women. We all know that most of the women were prostitutes but do they have to keep making blatant referrals? Furthermore, the police in The Long Shadow seem to assume that every woman that Sutcliffe killed was on the game which, as everyone now knows isn't true. Also no compassion is or was shown to the surviving victims like Marcella Claxton by the police whom they also thought were prostitutes.
Also most of the locations are incorrect too and insulting to people who live in these areas today. At least get it right ITV.
