Don’t believe the hype!! Compared to Dunkirk I found 1917 very disappointing. Yes I agree the visuals are excellent. The battlefield setting is outstanding. However I found the film a bit like a video game clunking from one scenario to the next. I’d waited ages to get the DVD and I’ve sold it after 1 viewing. That says it all. 😩
