Thumper Tieder

I was highly disappointed with this adaptation. Catch-22 is one of my favorite books, but this series is a pale comparison to the book. I realize the difficulty in adapting this book, but this series, in my opinion, drops the ball too many times: Doc Daneeka's character in this series is nothing like the one in the book. Nurse Ducket, nothing like the one in the book. Too many important parts were cut, and other parts were changed. The ending in the series is completely different than the book. I do not understand those 5-star reviews.
