Doesn't deserve the hate. Great game. Yes it has some flaws (ships approaching islands) like most games but overall it is an enjoyable experience. Fast paced battles like Suikoden 5, and a great soundtrack like that game too. It doesn't have 6 characters in battle but many great rpgs have only 3 or 4 party members so this isn't a huge deal.
