Best show ever. Numbered first before Lord of the Rings and The Matrix. The selflessness of Arthur and Merlin. The sadness of how Morgana is corrupted by her bitterness. The best and worst of human nature. No sex or gender ideologies thrust on us just the true beauty of what is possible for men and women. The acting was great, especially Arthur in the last episode. And I loved the banter between Merlin and Arthur plus the guidance of Giaus. I still today get a lump in my throat when I think of the last episode and how the virtues and beauty of those ideals seem lost today. I also love the parallels with Christianity. Displayed also in the Lord of the Rings and the Matrix. As hinted at in the last episode - Christ will return and He will restore this evil world to it’s original intended glory under His pure and just kingship.
