It is an amazing movie. I'm not a musician myself (although I would love to be), but as an artist, I felt it truly depicts the obsession and need, growing more and more with time and as you become better, to be flawless. And the toll it finally has on you, physically, mentally and emotionally. I believe the characters are written greatly to portray what they should and that is showing the fantastic work they did for the script. Another think I consider is very worth mentioning is the color palette. I loved the yellow and green tones in most of the movie, it gives it a very particular feeling. The casting is right on spot. And, the most important part of the movie, its essence: the music. To be truthful, jazz is not my favorite noe my most listened genre, but I have always believed it is undeniable how great and pleasant it is. The effort in the musicians and what they produce is truly amazing. Remarkable movie.
