The audio seemed like it was recorded with a cellphone and I had to constantly play with the volume to get conversations. Some of the settings were not 1989 and were more 1960s. The true point of what I thought the movie was about was lost in the ‘Halloweenesque’ portrayal of some very real African and West Indies beliefs. Only kept watching hoping it would get better. “You always have a choice” as a line in the movie said and I should have chosen to NOT finish watching this movie.
