I lost my dear dad to dementia a few years ago. I was dads carer along with the help of live in carers. It’s so hard to understand how the mind works and no matter how hard you try you can never really imagine how it feels for the person who has dementia. This film really captured how frustrating and frightening it must be to live with dementia. As I sat and watched, Anthony was so like my dad. Although heartbreaking to watch it made me realise how my poorly dad must’ve felt. A brilliant but very sad film.
