Tom Todaro

This is an English-language remake of a current French show, "Astrid et Raphaelle", which can be seen on PBS with subtitles. The premise is the same, and even the plots are largely copied from the French version. The difference is that the French show is far superior. Patience acts mostly normal with a few quirks, whereas Astrid is extremely autistic in comparison and is quite fascinating (like "Attorney Woo.) The police department cast is far more interesting and likeable in "Astrid", and there are many quite emotional moments. I like Laura Fraser, but there is simply no comparison between the two shows.
