This show is perfect. Like literally one of the best Kdrama I have ever seen. The pacing is amazing. The chemistry between the characters is awesome and I love the slow burn romance and the way the ML always seems to open up and smile around the FL and show his true self all facets the good the bad and the ugly.. and how she slowly starts caring about him more and more over time and he lets her into his space. In the beginning he was very closed off but he opened up to her. I love all the court cases and the slow burn romance. Everything about it is very well done.

I wanted to love this show but I do not. In the very first episode I decided this was not for me. I found out that she was divorced that in and of itself is not a bad thing but the fact that she allowed her cousin to constantly push her ex-husband and disrespect him. I understand that he cheated on her and all but that is still the father of her children and it is not ok that the cousin won't let him talk to the mother of his kids. That is foul behavior. I do not know anyone who was raised correctly that would let someone disrespect their ex husband or ex wife in that manner when he was not being violent first. I also don't like how goofy the Lt Gov came across. She acts like she does not have any common sense at all about real life. The ex-husband has no backbone and is a weak man. I understand he messed up during the marriage however he should not allow the cousin to mistreat him in that manner. He also did not have any backbone dealing with the daughter the mom socked the boy and the grandma have all the smoke only it seems. Grandma seems to be another version of Madea. She resorts to violence at every opportunity. But violence is not how most black people deal with issues or problems even the older ones. I do not like how she is portrayed to not know what things are called and like she is dumb in book learning but smart in the way of the streets. You need a balance of both. I don't know any grandmas in the black community who act this outlandish. Tyler Perry needs to get better representation. Like it or not his media is consumed by people worldwide. We do not like other people telling OUR stories because they many times lie or misrepresent us as a people. But it is pretty bad that he uses the same old mess everytime in his movies and shows. This is not helping us to be looked at favorably. This is like a OP purposefully making his own people look bad. This type of nonsense he constantly puts out is not okay in 2025. He needs to do better wayyyyyy better. Not everyone is this loud ghetto rachet stereotype. Not everyone is single divorced widowed or in a bad relationship. Not everyone was a stripper. If a black woman is "strong" and was made for black men then why are they portrayed like clowns and weak. God made a strong black man for a strong black woman and vice versa. Not everyone lives in the projects or has lived in the projects. We want our stories to be told.. true but not in this way. In every season there is a time.. a time for rachet.. a time for non-rachet.. a time for tomfoolery and a time for serious.. etc.. I just wish he would stop putting out the same formula and not listening to those of us who are tired of how we are portrayed in his media. I used to be a huge fan as a kid/young adult but now that I am a grown woman not so much because I have grown up.. Tyler is nearly two decades older then me and I wish his stories would also grow up to in keeping with today's times. I really love supporting my people but I cannot keep supporting mess that hurts our community. I love my black people deeply and it hurts when we do our own like this. We are trying to change our own narrative and this is setting us back.

I don't like what they have done to Nancy Drew. Why is Ned the only black man on the show a murderer? Why is Nancy and her dad at odds constantly? Why is Nancy so judgemental like she can break and enter, spy on protected conversations between a lawyer and client... etc but gets mad because her dad wants to move on from her dead mother? Nancy seems a bit bratty and sort of annoying. Although I am in the target range and love all of CW other offerings I hope they do better with this next season. It has potential I guess...
