The first thing I have tell y'all is that GIVE THIS SHOW A CHANCE. The second thing is that a lot of these one star reviews were submitted before the finale episode. But I'm submitting this review on 20/2/25 after watching the finale episode too. I was one of the people who lost interest on this show the second I heard that this is not the origin story of Tom Holland's MCU Spider-Man's origin story. I also kinda disliked the animation at first, but after an episode or two you would end up liking it. Heck, this is the only Spider-Man project that I forgot about the fact that it released. Spider-Man interacting with other Marvel characters was so wholesome to watch. I found people on the internet hating on the show due to the fact that the show race swapped and gender swapped characters, but in my opinion this is another universe were things go very much different from what we've seen before. The characters are well written. Also don't get me started on what they showed at end of the show, if I tell that it will be a spoiler. Also one more thing I liked is the comic book panel type of animation which very much resembles the 2005 game Ultimate Spider-Man. Excited for the next season. *⚠️MILD SPOILER AHEAD PROCEED WITH CAUTION ⚠️* The Scorpion was dropping bodies like my man used his metal tail to pierce Spider-Man's body and blood flowing out of Spider-Man's body. My boy Peter was getting nightmares of fighting Scorpion after that.
