If you liked the original show, don't watch this. It builds on the weaknesses of the subsequent series to deliver something truly awful. No character development. Nonstop action. An ending that completely erases the entire history of the show and all that happened while also directly contradicting much of the amulet lore that was established to that point. If you made the mistake of watching this, just make like the rest of us and consider it as nothing more than glorified fan fiction. Non-canon. Worth forgetting.

Hot trash. The volume of positive reviews out there for this movie has me questioning my sanity. Dull, emotionally tone deaf, alternately tedious and haphazard with its storytelling. It reads like it was written by teenagers playing with action figures with no understanding of characters or characterization. Craig deserved better. Everyone in this movie deserved better. Anyone who is saying this is good or even mediocre Bond content needs to watch more Bond. To quote another review, "the time to die is before watching this movie."

Excellent. Better than the original? No. About as good as sequels can get? Heck yes. Original plot, still makes fun of fairy tale tropes without reusing the same jokes as the first. Slower pace, higher stakes. Idina Menzel gets to sing this time (enjoy, Frozen fans) and Amy Adams nails her *two* roles in both acting and song. I never post reviews but the hate on this movie is unwarranted. Critics just haven't watched the original in 15 years and are blinded by nostalgia. Rewatch Enchanted before you go into this and it carries on the story well.
