Fabulous story. Incredible sets and backdrop settings. Remarkable detail. 12 episodes that held me to the end. BUT I watched it with English overdubbed. The formality of the language made the actors look very wooden. The scenes lacked passion, especially the sex scenes. Strange. But nevertheless a great series. Is it in any way a true story?
