Bring Her Back had potential, but failed to deliver more than just a gross and depressing experience. Starts off with what is supposed to be an occult snuff film, but fails to establish a believable supernatural connection. Because this crucial aspect of the story was not fully developed, it leaves the audience to fill in the many blanks. In an attempt to make up for this, the film relies heavily on body horror. Finally, the vulnerability of orphaned children and the main “victim” being blind was cheaply exploitative.
