The heart of the film lies in the title itself. The 100 feet is the distance between Madam Mallory's hotel and Mr. Kadam's hotel and the journey signifies how both cultures united when they crossed that distance. For Hassan, it signifies how crossing this distance made him realize his potential and be a world cuisine star. The core of movie revolves around soul found in vegetables and how it helps to make food as a memory. Great acting by everyone and the screenplay is very adapt. The wide angle shoots showing the road between two houses are very nicely used when required. Great to see Mr. Om Puri on screen. Legend for a reason. Great movie !!!
