I had never seen a Tron film until Ares. I've known and seen references to them over the years though. I really enjoyed Ares! The visuals were brilliant, the soundtrack and effects were perfect, and the acting I felt was great. I had read reviews being quite negative towards Leto, but as much as I agree that he was 'synth-like', that's exactly the character he was playing for most of the film. Leto adjusts the character's warmth and humanises him as the film moves on. I haven't seen any films which Leto has been a part of, so perhaps that's why I have a fresh take on it. Make sure to see it in a quality cinema!
