Excruciatingly boring plot. This movie’s plot was very weak in my opinion and kind of led to the whole thing feeling disjointed due to the fact that they were trying to implement so many ideas that really just clash. Not to mention the drama which was a bit annoying at times because everything that was happening just seemed so excessive. Excessive drama isn’t bad in itself it’s the fact that the first two movies in this series were so playful and fun but then we get the third one which is just the miseries of the real world. Marco’s character deserved better and not just because he is portrayed as just a second choice but because they completely ruined him aa a character. In the kissing booth 2 he is this sweet, calm guy who is just gettin by. But in the kissing booth 3 hes just always showing up and trying to be with Elle even though he knows she has a boyfriend. NOT TO MENTION THAT ELLE HANGS WITH HIM IN FRONT OF NOAH DESPITE KNOWING WHAT HAPPENED. And I’m like aaaagh this movie is just so frustrating, honestly just save yourself the time and skip this one entirely, I understand the you go girl gotta find yourself message but definitely not in this way, you can even tell in certain areas that they tried to do character growth but I honestly think it was a bit too overshadowed by the drama.

A very disappointing and all around bad film by Sia. I do not in any way think Sia should be “cancelled” for this film, however the choices she made throughout the production of this film was ignorant and irresponsible. She had every chance throughout the three years this was being produced to make it something better, and to take advice as well as critiques that she was aware were coming her way. However she did not, and chose to just use tunnel vision, which is what landed her in this position. Now, with all of the offensive content and public drama aside, this movie still just did not cut it for me. Some of the visuals were actually very beautiful and striking, but some of the transitions into songs were just strange to me. Everything all around just seemed very shallow and really lacked depth in the way that I think Sia would have intended. I feel this film unfortunately has too many problematic elements and internal issues for it to even be salvageable in any way. If you are thinking of watching it, it may just be better to skip it altogether. Hopefully in the future Sia does better and realizes why so many people have issues with it and improves.
