I cried. This is Superman, This is a hero, and This is hope.
As a kid, I liked Superman. I loved his double life and his heroism in the comics and in Superman Returns.
As a teen, I despised Superman. I despised the snyder adaption for the character, giving him a dark and gritty vibe that treated him as a deity and not a symbol of hope and most importantly, not Human.
As an adult, I love and adore Superman. A symbol of hope, heroism, peace and love. He was human, He was Superman. He cared for the humans unlike Snyder's version and was a Human, who was scared, angry and could be happy.
Thank you James Gunn for giving us this Superman.
The DCU is in safe hands 🤞
