I'm not sure gripping & suspenseful is good enough, but we binge watched the first two seasons in 2 days. Acting is mesmerizing and a LOT of history that needs to be shared. As someone who grew up with the knowing the stereotypes and actors wearing 6 pounds of makeup to make them look ethnic was a farce, this cast brings the this series so much more honesty and believability because it means so much more.
