It was terrible I'm not sure what is being taught by this show except it's all about who you know. And with enough money you can do whatever you want. The mother is horrible, automatically willing to deal out punishment even for her son but her daughter Lupe never faces the consequences of her actions. I watched waiting for this show to redeem itself by having Lupe's selfish and downright cruel actions see fair consequences or even for her mother to act like an adult...all for nothing. Terrible show with deplorable lessons and caricatures for characters. Plus it's all one big setup for the cliffhanger at end...which you can see from a mile away. The same questions and issues raised at the beginning of the show are never resolved or even explained. It was all one long episode 1. The only person I hated more than Lupe and her mother was Mia. She is supposedly painted as an angel but her actions for 90% of the show are just as selfish and destructive as Lupe's. She deserves to get kicked out. What really grinds my gears is that this show will probably get a season two but shows with actual depth, real characters and talent will never make it past the first season.
