If youโre sick with a virus this is the best medicine. The funniest comedies are those that stretch reality just past the point of possibility and make you hope it could happen. That is what The Russians Are Coming does to perfection.
And then there is the scene with Carl Reiner and the โMayberryโ style telephone operator. If you suffering from congestion this scene will induce laughter to the point where your congestion starts to breakup and you wholeheartedly believe that laughing is life giving for the seriously ill and the true remedy for the common cold. (It is not so common when it is yours or mine.)
