As a fan that has read this novel series 3 times because of how good it is all I can say is what a great disappointment. Tv/movies are never as good as the books because of the limited time in comparison which I can understand with necessary cuts because of that time constraint.. however to completely rewrite the story and add in so much that was never ever in the books not only does a disservice to the hard-core fans but even more so to those that have never read it and like the show enough to go read the story. They will be shocked at what a butchering these writers, producers, and directors did in comparison to the original novels. I can only imagine based on the incredible detailed and excellent writing that Robert Jordan did, how utterly sick he would be by this mockery of his work.
