Slow to start, but it's worth it. You need the time to payoff all the character's arcs and that's what's done. Not just Kerry Washington and Reese Witherspoon, but the kids and side characters too. Some of the negative responses are saying it's a stereotypical show with a leftist bent but it's not. If you really think about it, the most sympathetic character is clearly the father. Do yourself a favor and watch it. Better yet, watch with a friend so you can talk about it afterwards.
