Sarah Polley is a genius. This moody, heady film is indeed stylized, and the dialogue - the foundation upon which the film rests and breathes - is impeccable. Too many reviewers forget that this is not a documentary. Also, the comments complaining about the type of language used (whether it be elevated for uneducated women or too spot on the current cultural zeitgeist) highlight the viewers' assumptions and/or blind spots instead of being a valid critique of the film; great art will absolutely expose your isms and issues...It's a great great film.
