If you like The Guilded Age on HBO you will love this book. Mamie Fish is a lot more than the footnote she is portrayed in the series.
I thoroughly enjoyed the read and Jennifer Wright’s sense of humor and her synthesis between 19th & early 20th century manners/mores to today’s “society” is truly excellent.
Thank you Ms. Wright for a terrific book.
