Fjodor Merkuri

This was a great movie with some of the best cinematography. The way the story is told in the beginning is interesting and, I thought, gave the viewer plenty of time to get acquainted with some of the main characters and their dynamics (which becomes useful for understanding the drama that unfolds in the second part of the movie). I felt that Lazzaro provided a calming presence that often times balanced the hastiness that surrounds the actions of the other characters. Definitely a must watch.
