In my honest opinion, the movie feels as if it was written by an AI that skimmed the surface of online interaction in America and took the top 5 results and made a plot out of it. I would have to say the only part that genuinely made me feel uneasy was the herd of deer throughout the movie, other than that i was a bit disappointed by the ending of this movie, there was no follow up to the men or women leading this movie, we're left wondering what happened to the son, we hear gunshots never knowing if its just noise or the grown men killing each other, what happened to the mom and the daughter of the man (forgot the characters name), and do they ever find the youngest of the group? regardless the movie ends with the youngest finding a mansion and scarfing down what must've been a good 2 weeks worth of food before hearing the mom call for her, as she's leaving she comes across a dark hallway which she goes off exploring and discovers an underground bunker, and what does she see? a TV with VHS/DVD and a library of shows and movies bigger than Netflix itself, and what does she find among the plethora of discs and tapes? the entire series of friends on dvd, the brat plops down in front of the TV and watches the final episode of the series, which she spends the entire length of the movie complaining about not being able to watch. as the famous Theme Song "I'll be there for you" plays, the credits start to roll... that's how this movie ends and there's no additional context given not even a post credits scene to suggest anything. This movie was the only movie that gave me that "well there goes 2 hours and 20 minutes that I'll never get back" feeling...
