I am still reading this thoughtful, wide ranging study of Australia's culture, history and recent developments. I find information and insights on nearly every made. The author writes very well, the better to look deep beneath the surface into Australia, past, present and our hopes and aspirations. Any speculation is grounded in persuasive evidence. I have already made many notes and I am totally engaged with Julianne Schultz's excellent work.
