Disregarding all Star Wars prior to this film, this movie is objectively bad. The pacing is quite literally the worst I have ever seen in a movie. There is no build up and pay off, there is little to no consistency between scenes, there is absolutely no tension throughout the entirety of the film. Watch the film and then answer this question: what was the story? Not a summary of the events that happened on screen, but what was the story? None of it is connected. It's this insane fever dream anthology of weird and disconnected things happening one after another until you get to the credits. None of it fits together or makes any sense. TLJ was an affront to the franchise and spat on its betters, but at least it was a watchable film. This movie is undoubtedly the worst movie in the Star Wars franchise and a complete travesty of film-making. There is nothing redeeming about this movie, aside from the fact that this franchise's slide into absolute disappointment will finally be at an end. Please save yourself 2 hours of your life and skip this film.
