Late watch review- What I watched and what I had expected before watching and after reading extreme reviews all over, were completely different. Very well articulated, performance of Shahid Kapoor was mind blowing and heart touched. I don't know what has happened to Indian audience/reviewer who are reviewing such a nicely made and unconventional movie in a bad light. Ironically, these are the people who also watch and admire GoT, Joker and other Hollywood movies and series to great lengths. Why not encourage Indian cinema. Hypocrisy! And, even when we want to dissect this Kabir's character, then I saw even the Wikipedia mentioned it as "misogynic".. and being a woman, I had some unpleasantness for this movie BEFORE I watched it. And, it changed my view to 180 degree opposite after I watched it and realized, there was no way this guy had any issues "specific" to "women", instead he was very involved, loyal, protective and respectful towards his woman!! Though he had an intense mind and anger issues, that screwed him up everywhere. So, yes he needed help, but I liked him.. as a person who you can trust if he belongs to you!
