The main character starts the show by throwing a dove into the air to see if life is good, and it's immediately captured by a hawk in a vicious manner which sends him reeling into a journey to interpret the signs of what is about to happen in the world.
This show is very subtle & brilliant - It has nothing to do with got & its not trying to portray history - if anything it is a story about Demons & Fairytale/Mythology, and Light VS Dark / Good vs Evil. Nature, Mysticism & Psychic Powers. Life & Death. The Setting of North of Hadrians Wall, Using Druids & Rome are all More Conceptual in their purpose than they are historical. I had to watch this like 5 times to fully understand the story & its purpose - and I am SO into it and so excited for the next season. Veran is such an incredible character. This is for people who are into mysticism & philosophy and who are interested in the idea of mystical ancient unknowable energies being in existence beyond our reality.
