Gorgeous, compelling, chaotic, trippy book! It felt like being inside of an addiction…”Spending time with my sister, Debbie, was like buying acid off a guy you met on the bus.” But the narrator’s behavior and thoughts start to change about halfway through the book, and the writing changes in tone and tenor to beautifully mark the evolution of the character. I couldn’t put this book down! I was on a roller-coaster ride from start to finish!!

Outstanding, grand, fascinating, beautifully told love story! Don’t be concerned about the 700+ pages; it needed that many! Thank you and Bravo Dr. Abraham Verghese- another glorious work of art!!!
