SPOILERS AHEADDD
The movie was unrealistic and terrible. You know the movie is bad when even me as a 13 yr old, feel the need to write this. Watch the movie if you dare, smh
- Why were they all in high school? Aren’t they from their own fairy tales when high school wasn’t even a thing? The movie deviates from the original stories.
- Why did Uma invite the Queen and her daughter, knowing she’s known for offing people’s heads or whatever? What sense does that make?
- When the Queen of Hearts tells Red to kill Cinderella, why did no one do anything about it? And why did Chloe forgive Red and start working with her to stop the prank so fast, even though she tried to kill her own mother?
- Why is Red acting like her mom hasn’t been the way she has her whole life? If she raised you, wouldn’t you want to be like her, since she’s your only figure? And if you don’t know what a real mom looks like, why do you want change when Red should be used to this, since it’s been happening her entire life?
- When the bullies get caught, why do they just stop bullying Red’s mom and leave her alone because they got some detention? It’s like they were trying to foreshadow the fact that Ursula’s baby sister wanted to be as bad as Ursula and they made it clear that she wanted revenge so bad that she made a whole song about it, half of which is about revenge.
- And why is Cinderella in high school and not her stepsisters? She’s considered an embarrassment to the stepmother, so why does she feel comfortable giving her an education or whatever
- And the spell cookbook that was supposed to be for revenge was supposed to turn Red’s mom ugly, so why doesn’t she look like a monster in the future if that’s what the spell was supposed to do
- Why is Red’s mom so mad over a prank, even though young Cinderella said Red’s mom never gets mad over anything and still tries to be nice? Maybe they bullied her after, I don’t know, but that part didn’t make any sense. Where did the whole "cut off their heads" thing come from when Red’s mom is mad about anything?
- Half the movie they were talking about some dance they were getting ready for, but they didn’t even mention it later or at all when they made it seem like such a big deal.
- Why did Maleficent of all villains not say one word the entire movie? That’s just not something Maleficent would do, to be honest.
- When they came back to the future, why didn’t Red’s clothes change to what she actually wanted to wear or be herself, like she said she wanted?
- Red’s mom had everything pink, her room was pink, and she even made pink cutie cupcakes, so when they fixed the prank, why is she still wearing red? And with red hair too, and not even a hint of pink. It was barely a change.
- Why does their hair need to match their outfits? I know this movie is supposed to be for preteens and teens, but it was just so childish and unrealistic. The whole movie did not resemble *Descendants* at all.
- Lastly, why was the ending so bad, lame, and boring? All they did was grab the book and leave. It wasn’t a good ending at all, especially for kids like me. We want more than just a book and it’s over like that.
