It’s a lengthy movie of Batman going about his business in the night along with Commissioner Gordon and Catwoman to face the Riddler’s antics, as well as other characters like Carmine Falcone and the Penguin. The mood is grim, but the PG-13 rating made some scenes unconvincing, most notably when some guy’s face doesn’t look like it got what seemed to be a serious beating by Batman. Finally, the ending is a sequel hook for the Joker, Riddler, and Penguin.
