Rocksmith+ is a huge step back from it's predecessors, from it's music catalogue to it's music chart everything's a mess.
Ubisfot has tried to opt for a slimmer design with it's ui, they've extended this to it's music charts as well, instead of the big bold and clear notation everything is now slim and petite, this causes issues while site reading as it's unclear as to what's coming next, the worst part about this is when you need to shift from one end of the neck to another, it completely restricts the upcoming notes so you can't see how many strums you need to do, or if it's just a sustained chord.
Ubisoft has tried to cater to everyone with it's music catalogue, but in doing so they've stretched their budget thin, because of this, you might find only a hand full of songs you like to play but then find after a couple of days your board of what they have to offer, or worse still you find one or two songs that you actually like from the selection, but unfortunately they are way above your current skill level to play.
It's nearly been a month since launch and we have yet to see any notable new releases as well.
The way Rocksmith+ is now I cannot recommend wasting money on the monthly subscription, they have a free trial up until the 10th of October, but even disregarding the song selection, the notation of the game is too confusing and messy to to make any progress, if your looking to play guitar, maybe swap the subscription fee for an actual guitar tutor.
