I’m genuinely shocked this film came from Martin Scorsese, it’s taken what is a very interesting and tragic piece of American History and completely butchered it with poor story telling and filmmaking. I’ve absolutely adored everything else that he’s ever made and he’s a brilliant director but I can only assume he made this because of a giant paycheck from Apple because it’s absolutely dreadful - save yourself nearly 4 hours don’t watch it.
