Not a bad film at all the reception at the start was great as time went on and some people started to see what the old Godzilla is and some that already understood what it was. The film would then gain a lot of unwarranted hatred the character model is completely different yes they had made there own version of Godzilla the story’s even different and the story’s are always changing there continuity with every iteration people complain about him laying eggs yes it’s strange but we never get to see how it’s kids are born each movie the son always just appears no ones ever had a problem with that but it’s nice to see something different they even left it open for a sequel that never happens because it became a show instead 2014 Godzilla is great in every way but there are some obvious flaws and they keep getting worse with each film mostly with the editing and writing and some of the new actors added into the films along with the comedy and the terrible idea of creating another superhero type universe please just don’t do that other than that itself though there great films .another problem people have is him dying from rockets I mean this is a different version of Godzilla but also in the first film he was killed from a machine that destroys hydrogen and all they did was sink it into the water it was a great idea I liked it but there’s no reason to complain about this when there are many other flaws in these future movies I’d wish they would fix.
